I hear ya. It’s not even summer yet so why the devil am I writing about an A/W nail polish collection? Mainly because I can’t keep my mouth shut/fingers off my keypad when I’ve found something I like. And I really like these polishes. While OPI’s Coca-Cola Collection contains a few crackers, this is almost consistently brilliant. In fact, 10 of the 12 colours have gone straight onto my crammed polish shelf (OPI with a Nice Finn-ish and My Voice is a Little Norse just aren’t my bag – too dated and glittery respectively for my taste, but each to their own).
The collection, inspired by the lava fields of Iceland, deep fjords of Norway and colourful houses of Copenhagen, can be roughly divided into three categories: dark, rich berries/purples, bright colour bursts and toasty, rich browns. If I had to choose a must-have from each, they’d be Do You Have this Color in Stock-holm?, My Dogsled is a Hybrid and How Great is Your Dane?
Pick the collection up from OPI stockists from the 6th of August. In the meantime, feast your eyes on the swatches below or snap up other OPI shades here.
