Remember my mention of scheduled posts? Well, here is the one I was so keen on writing that I stayed up into the wee hours to write it. What inspired such devotion to the cause? Oh, only the most feted new raft of Nars products in years.
Those of you who’ve indulged in a bit of Nars will know a colour collection is always worth taking note of, but this one is more than just a whole lotta new stuff to put on your face – it’s been put together by lover of neon Christopher Kane and has his stamp all over it. From the pinker than pink blusher (which is surprisingly flattering when applied in a thin veil) to the ultra-shimmery eyeshadows, it’s all trademark Kane but, like his designs, the make-up surprisingly wearable despite it’s punchiness – just pick one and let it jazz up a feature for summer.
My favourite new additions are without a shadow of a doubt the lip glosses; less apologetic than most pretty sheer shades but less daring than a matte neon, they’re exactly what I’m looking for to see me through the summer and I’ve packed one in my bag to ramp my look up a notch in the evening in the Seychelles.
