Some Londoners have all the luck, and my friend Emma is among their ranks – she is in possession of a key to a garden square in Pimlico. As Sunday was a scorcher from the off, she suggested a picnic a deux and I of course eagerly accepted. The idea behind the outfit I cobbled together was maximum comfort as I correctly predicted that the t-shirt would be shed minutes into reclining on a makeshift bed comprising a yoga mat and some throws and my flip flops flung with abandon to one side.
Unfortunately, we were having too good a time to contemplate taking pictures during our little champagne (well, Prosecco… ) picnic, so I’m afraid this OOTD is actually a bit crap and consists merely of a photo of me halfway through sunbathing, t-shirt off and all. Sorry – I tried. At least as the square was all but empty (oh the irony – those fortunate enough to own prime properties are also generally wont to escape the inferno that is London during August), nobody was around to witness the whole classy wiggle to retain modesty while taking off/putting on t-shirt…
