I have a newfound respect for reporters who go on camera while standing on the streets of London. Thanks to a short stint of filming on the banks of the Thames last week, I now know how many people stop to gawk/ask questions/generally disrupt those who take to the streets with a camera crew.
I’ll rewind a little: I’m currently working on a collaboration with Microsoft (all to be revealed shortly but suffice to say I’m pretty excited and am looking forward to sharing it when I can) and the project has involved a fair bit of writing (this is one of the reasons I’ve been a little quieter here), and some filming – below is the outfit I wore for the big day of the shoot.
As the process of filming involved a fair bit of moving around to take photos and ‘blog’ on camera, I wanted to feel comfortable; self-consciousness is the worst thing you can don on screen. And, trust me, with the added element of people stopping and watching, I’m pretty glad I opted for something I felt good in…
