That Marie Kondo business is seriously time-consuming – I’ve followed her instructions to the letter and now have a house that’s covered in books/clothes/products that have been tipped out onto the floor. So much for a productive Monday back at the grindstone! I’m going to go and finish what I started, but leave you with a little make-up-spiration to (hopefully) cheer up a first day back at work.
Today’s make-up muse is Mick (Michaela, really, but nobody calls her that – I often call her snake/peasant/worm and other such affectionate nicknames). Biased though I may be as her sister, I think she’s pretty foxy. Don’t cringe if you’re reading this snake – you are.
Right before Christmas she’d been rushing around all day and hadn’t had a chance to put any make-up on, so we had us a little loo make-up session at a restaurant before she went out for drinks. She can be a bit smoky eye shy – she’s all about deep berry lips or slick of bright blue on her lids – but I convinced her to give me free reign and she loved the results. Here’s what’s on her face along with an entreaty to perhaps do as she did and veer off your usual make-up jam – you may come to love the results… //
