My intentions were good – I wanted to get up an hour before my call time every morning over LFW and write a blog post. Well. Yes. We all now know that didn’t happen. So here’s what I’ve been up to…
Making videos for Marie Claire / Be not fooled by the brevity of these videos – they’re the result of many hours of work and a fair few hands //
Runway to Reality Charlotte Olympia – click here / Make-Up Notes: To get that deep, dark shade of red, I used Ellis Faas Glazed Lips in Sheer Blood Red and then took a black kohl eyeliner and drew on top of the lips to deepen the colour.
Runway to Reality Anya Hindmarch – click here /
Runway to Reality PPQ – click here / Make-Up Notes: I’ve got to offer a shout out to the brilliant Liz Martins, who did this little flick for me using Models Own (side note on grammar: shouldn’t it be Model’s Own, as in the make-up belonging to the models? Let me know your thoughts grammarians…).
[Late addition: I’ve since had an e-mail from a fellow pedant to say this: ‘Models’ Own! Not Models Own nor Model’s Own. Because, as you say, it is the makeup belonging to the models. Were it singular, it would be Model’s Own indeed.’]

Going Backstage / Part of the above video process, I also took along my camera to take some pictures. Here are some taken backstage at Anya Hindmarch’s show //
Anya Hindmarch A/W 16 // Hair / Sam McKnight using L’Oreal Professionnel // Nails / Marion Newman using MAC // Make-Up / Val Garland using MAC //
Nothing Else / Seriously. The only other thing I did was eat (mostly chocolate) and sleep (not a lot). Normal service to resume anon!
