Beauty stocking fillers when chosen well can be pure joys. Give an assortment, or let them be the icing to the main present cake. Whichever way you go, you’d be hard pushed not to find the perfect one at the moment: much like crackers and calendars, beauty minis are having a moment in the sun. Here are those that shone the brightest in my opinion //

Neom Beauty Gifts

Neom All I Want For Christmas Are Three Nights of Peace / These three oils are a beautiful introduction to anyone who doesn’t yet know about the beautiful organic brand Neom, provided the grammatical error in the name doesn’t bother them (the Henry Higgins in me never gets a day off).

Molton Brown Festive Frankincense & Allspice Bauble / Get this fantastically festive bauble for that person who’s impossible to buy for – everyone has to wash their hands and doing so in a Molton Brown potion is invariably better than most day-to-day varieties.

Invisibobble Time to Shine Collection / I’m very tempted to break this set up so I can keep half myself (I tie my hair back in these at the gym or when I’m washing my face), but will resist as I think they’d make the perfect gift for a certain long-haired girl I know with a penchant for a ponytail.

Elemental Herbology Gift Set Review

Elemental Herbology Radiance & Vitality Radiant Skin Set / Give this as an introduction to high quality skincare, or as a gift for a keen traveller – the cleanser and night cream within work well on all skin types (men can use this set too).

Lancer The Method: Polish / Have someone on your list who likes a bit of luxury? Try giving them this – Lancer is the choice of lots of A-listers and this polish one of his hero products. If you dole out advice with presents (just me?), advise them to avoid scrubbing away violently at skin with this – tempting though it is, gently and – if possible – mixed with a cleansing balm is the best way to administer this one.

Caudalie Divine Oil / The clue’s in the name: this one’s just a divine treat of an oil that can be rubbed into limbs/hair/nails/skin. It’s also another good size for a traveller or as an introduction to oils.

Topshop Lip Bullets / These bestselling lipsticks come in a variety of finishes and, for Christmas, come dressed in festive gold. I’d be as happy to give one of these to a teen as I would to a 50-year-old.
